Build With Us

Since 2022, the Be Philly Foundation has invested more than $1 million in local communities. When people give to Be Philly, they are investing in organizations already doing the work in communities across Philadelphia. Every dollar supports organizations rooted in their neighborhoods and focused on long-term impact. We stay close to the work and support the people building trust, access, and opportunity for young Philadelphians through our Better Together and our Nominate Your Block grant programs. We fund Philadelphia-based youth organizations focused on economic mobility and sustained engagement, organized around five pillars:

• Play Together: Youth sports, mentorship, and the kind of belonging that comes from being part of something.

• Learn Together: Academic enrichment, literacy, and tutoring that keeps young people moving forward.

• Build Together: Career pathways and paid opportunities that give young people a foothold.

• Start Together: Early childhood and family support, because economic mobility starts early.

• Rise Together: Direct support during the moments that matter most.

Giving directly to Be Philly means you don't have to research every organization yourself. We evaluate every grantee - their track record, their impact, their fit with our mission - before a dollar goes out. You're trusting us to put your gift where it does the most good.
